 GovLink Global LLC SMS Communications and Data Privacy Policy:

1.  Overview of SMS Program and Consent 

GovLink Global LLC provides optional SMS (text message) notifications for account-related and security purposes only.

By texting “JOIN” to +1-855-490-6979, you affirmatively consent to receive non-marketing, transactional text messages from GovLink Global LLC. This includes:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) login codes

Contract status and application updates

Platform security alerts and profile verification notices

Notifications about required compliance or legal changes

These messages are triggered by user activity and are strictly informational. You will not receive promotional or marketing content.

Your consent is not a condition of use of the GovLink Global LLC  platform.

2.  How Opt-In Works 

Users can opt in to receive SMS messages through the following process:

  • When creating or accessing a GovLink Global LLC profile, users are prompted with the option:
    “Would you like to receive SMS updates about account security, contract status, and platform alerts? 
  • Users are shown a message like:
    “Reply JOIN to +1-855-490-6979 to receive SMS messages from GovLink Global LLC.”
  • When the user texts JOIN, they receive a confirmation message:
    “GovLink Global LLC: You’ve successfully subscribed to SMS alerts. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data rates may apply.” 



2. Message Frequency and Costs

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier. There is no fee from GovLink Global LLC for this service.

3. Opting Out and Managing Preferences

· You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive.

· You may also text HELP for support and instructions. For help, contact: admin@govlinkglobal.com 

· Upon opting out, you will no longer receive SMS communications, but you will still be able to access the GovLink Global platform through web login.

4. Data Privacy and Protection

GovLink Global is committed to protecting your personal data under applicable privacy laws, including:

· The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

· The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (for EU/EEA users)

· Applicable U.S. federal and state laws

· Google Play Developer Policies and Apple App Store Guidelines for user data handling

When you provide your mobile number and consent to receive SMS notifications:

· Your phone number is securely stored using industry-standard encryption.

· Your number will only be used to send relevant account and security communications.

· Your data will never be sold, leased, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

· You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data at any time by contacting admin@govlinkglobal.com. GovLink Global does not knowingly collect or store data of minors under the age of 16 without verified parental consent. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.

5. Data Transfers and International Users

If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that information you provide may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from your country of residence. GovLink Global ensures that any international transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, through mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

6. Changes to This Policy

GovLink Global may update this SMS Communications and Data Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes either by email, platform notification, or by posting a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of GovLink Global services after any changes indicates your agreement to the updated policy.

7. Closing Your GovLink Global Account

You have the right to close your GovLink Global account and request the deletion of your personal information at any time.

To close your account:

  • Web: Log in to your account, navigate to Account  Settings, and select Delete Account.
  • Mobile App: Go to Settings > Account >  Delete Account in the GovLink Global app.

When you choose to delete your account:

  • Your account profile, including your resume, certifications, and job application history, will be permanently  deleted from our systems within 30 days.
  • SMS subscription records associated with your account will also be deleted.
  • Certain data may be retained temporarily if required for legal, compliance, tax, or fraud prevention purposes, in accordance with applicable laws.

     Important:
          Once you confirm deletion, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.

9. How to Request Manual Account Deletion (Optional)

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion manually, you may email us at:

For security purposes, we may request additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.
